Be Passionate About Your Craft

I've always been interested in working with wood and building things and working with my hands. The time came to make a shift in my career. For most of my life I had been sitting behind a desk. When the mortgage industry began to shake in 2008 it came time to make a career change. I decided to pursue my passion in woodworking and do something more physical and challenging that I thoroughly enjoy as a career path. I went to SAIT to become a Carpenter. For most of my life I built projects for other people. Now came the time I needed the written credentials.

RENOVATIONS

In the Fall of 2009 my wife and I decided to move back to Ontario the following year. We completely renovated our rental property for resale. We gutted both the upstairs and basement kitchen and bathroom. The cabinets were custom made with new countertops, including a breakfast bar and staining a pantry door to match the cabinets. We tore out the carpet and had the hardwood floors refinished upstairs. We replaced the carpet in the downstairs apartment. We painted every room, put in new window coverings, door hardware, new linoleum in both kitchen, bathroom and entry stairs. We replaced the rain gutters and eaves; landscaped with mulch, rocks, flowers and shrubs; painted the lower half of the exterior.
